Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

Day 2: Thimphu – Punakha Valley

• Visit:
  • Takin Preserve – home to Bhutan’s national animal.
  • Textile Museum – showcasing traditional weaving arts.
• • Shop at Thimphu’s Farmers Market.
  • Scenic drive via Dochula Pass (3,100m) to Punakha Valley.
  • Arrive and relax at your hotel.
  • Overnight in Punakha.

Day 3: Punakha – Phobjikha Valley

• Visit:
  • Punakha Dzong – one of Bhutan`s most stunning fortresses.
  • Punakha Suspension Bridge – one of the longest in Bhutan.
• Optional: White water rafting on the Mo Chhu River.
• Drive to Phobjikha Valley – winter home of the endangered, black-necked cranes.
• Experience:
  • Traditional farmhouses stay.
  • Hot stone bath and warm local hospitality.
• Overnight in Phobjikha.

Day 4: Phobjikha – Paro

• Visit:
  • Crane Information Center – learn about local conservation.
  • Gangtey Monastery – a serene and significant religious site.
• Scenic drive back to Paro with optional sightseeing en route.

• Overnight in Paro.

Day 5: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery

• Morning hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) – a sacred site perched on a cliff.
• Learn about Guru Rinpoche’s legendary meditation here.
• Optional:
  • Visit the National Museum of Bhutan.
  • Stroll through Paro town for souvenirs or local cafés.
• Overnight in Paro.

Day 6: Departure from Paro

• Enjoy a relaxed breakfast.
• Transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey.
