Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport.
Transfer to Thimphu – the only capital city in the world without traffic lights.

Buddha Dordenma
– a 52-meter-tall statue overlooking the valley.
Tashichho Dzong
– historic fortress and government seat.
Explore the

for traditional Bhutanese crafts.
Enjoy dinner and rest at your hotel.
Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimphu – Punakha Valley
Visit:
Takin Preserve
– home to Bhutan’s national animal.
Textile Museum
– showcasing traditional weaving arts.
Shop at
Thimphu’s Farmers Market.
Scenic drive via
Dochula Pass
(3,100m) to Punakha Valley.
Arrive and relax at your hotel.
Overnight in Punakha.
Day 3: Punakha – Phobjikha Valley
Visit:
Punakha Dzong
– one of Bhutan`s most stunning fortresses.
Punakha Suspension Bridge
– one of the longest in Bhutan.
Optional:
White water rafting
on the Mo Chhu River.
Drive to
Phobjikha Valley
– winter home of the endangered, black-necked cranes.
Experience:
Traditional
farmhouses stay.
Hot stone bath

Day 4: Phobjikha – Paro

Crane Information Center

Gangtey Monastery

Day 5: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery

Stroll through
Paro town

Day 6: Departure from Paro
