Itinerary for Varanasi (3) – Bodhgaya (1) – Ayodhya (2)
Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi
Meet our representative/driver at the airport.
Transfer to pre-booked hotel and check-in.
Sightseeing:
Visit Banaras Hindu University (Asia’s largest residential university).
Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple on the western bank of the Ganges.
Explore the ghats by boat (The Assi, Dasawamedha, Barnasangam, Panchganga, and Manikarnika).
Witness the evening aarti/prayer ceremony at the Ganges.
Return to hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Varanasi
Excursion to Sarnath:
Visit Dhamek Stupa (Built in 500 AD).
Explore Sarnath`s archaeological sites, including the Ashoka Pillar and the Choukhandi Stupa.
Visit Sarnath Archaeological Museum.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Varanasi to Bodhgaya (255 km / approx. 5 to 6 hours)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Bodhgaya.
Check into the hotel upon arrival.
Sightseeing:
Visit the Bodhi Temple, the 80 Feet Buddha statue, and other Buddhist monasteries.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Bodhgaya.
Day 4: Bodhgaya - Gaya - Varanasi
Early morning drive to Gaya (approx. 5:30 am).
Visit Vishnupad Temple and perform the Pind Daanam ritual at Falgu River.
Explore other key sites in Gaya.
Return to Varanasi and check into the hotel.
Evening at leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Varanasi - Allahabad - Ayodhya (219 km / approx. 5 hours)
Morning drive to Triveni Sangam (on the way, visit Vindhyachal and Sitamarhi).
Perform rituals and take a bath at Triveni Sangam.
Sightseeing in Allahabad.
Drive to Ayodhya.
Check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Ayodhya
Sightseeing in Ayodhya:
Visit Ram Janmabhoomi, Hanuman Garhi, Sita Rasoi, etc.
Learn the historical and religious significance of Ayodhya and the Saryu River.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
Transfer to airport/railway station for onward journey.
